WIRE — UPND candidate Mubita Nawa has been declared Member of Parliament-elect for Mongu East Constituency after polling 11,537 votes. Returning Officer Biggie Choongo announced the results at UCZ Sefula Secondary School Hall. Mr. Nawa defeated Independent candidate Mwilola Imakando who received 2,070 votes.
