WIRE — From August 15 to 23, 2026, an exclusive retrospective of films by the outstanding Austrian director Michael Haneke, titled VIDEO, will be held at the â Zhovtenâ cinema in Kyiv. The program includes six iconic works of macabre and deep auteur cinema, including the Cannes â Palme dâ Orâ winners â The White Ribbonâ and â Amour,â the Grand Prix winner â The Piano Teacher,â as well as the scandalous â Funny Games.â The films will be screened in their original language with Ukrainian subtitles. Screenings will be accompanied by introductory lectures from the KRAY film project, discussions, and a special open talk with philosopher Oleksandr Filonenko.
