WIRE — Binibining Pilipinas has new queens and Baguio City's Gwendoline Soriano won the top crown as Binibining Pilipinas International. She will represent the Philippines in the Miss International pageant. Gwendoline bested more than 30 participants and claimed the top crown. The coronation night was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Araneta City, Saturday night, July 18. During the question and answer portion, Gwendoline was asked, What future do you envision for yourself and how will the Binibining Pilipinas title help you get to that destination? My ambition to be an aspirational leader, and with a Binibini crown, hopefully, I get to inspire people to believe in the beauty of their dreams and to be faithful. I am here now not because of my own strength, not because of my own beauty and skills, but only by the grace of God. Tarlac's Sasha Lacuna won the Binibining Pilipinas Globe crown while Dumaguete's Julianne Raine Antonio and Bacolod's Tracy Sunio won first and second-runner up, respectively.
