CRFA Chairperson Goodall Chinjoka revealed the stance on Sunday during the launch of the K50 million GoJet Investments Central Region Football League at Kasungu Stadium. He said the decision to endorse Haiya reflects the collective position of the entire committee. "We are endorsing Haiya to continue the good work that he is currently doing. Haiya has demonstrated outstanding leadership, and we are very optimistic that if he continues even stronger vehicle for development and success," he said. Responding to the endorsement, Haiya confirmed that he will contest for another term following the association's backing. "I am fully committed to accepting this endorsement and doing the needful. I believe this endorsement is a reflection of the good working relationship we have built together," he said. Haiya also commended GoJet Investments for sponsoring football in the country, describing the investment as a significant boost to the development of the game. Meanwhile, GoJet Investments Business Development Officer Brenda Chitete reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting football development in Malawi. "We will continue supporting football to ensure that grassroots footballers are identified, nurtured and given opportunities to play for the national teams," she said. The launch match saw TN Stars and Manzo Chisomo FC drawing 1-1 to officially kick off the competition. GoJet Investments will sponsor football competitions in the Central Region for the next three years in a deal worth K300 million.
