WIRE — According to the directorate, Samagra Shiksha has sanctioned â ¹24.84 crore as composite school grants for 418 Government Junior Colleges, â ¹20 crore for computer rooms in 80 colleges, â ¹1.90 crore for toilets in 40 colleges, â ¹1.68 crore for vocational tools and equipment, â ¹1.04 crore for sports grants covering 416 colleges, â ¹41.8 lakh for libraries, â ¹10.45 lakh for Eco Clubs under Mission LiFE and â ¹2.09 lakh for drug abuse awareness programmes. The scheme also provides transport and escort allowances and other support for Children with Special Needs (CwSN)
